Panam Buddhist Mission is a legacy of the Toronto Panam Games - the biggest sporting event ever held in the Americas. It was also honored as the only North American organization linked to the Samurai Clans of Japan who were the most devout patrons and promoters of Buddhism. 

Panam Buddhist Mission therefore runs a non-denominational Buddhist temple in the heart of downtown Toronto and also organizes important art exhibits, speaking events and creative projects to make Buddhism cool and relatable for mainstream demographics.
